Concerning Puig :
Puig is a family-run company of fashion and perfumes based in Barcelona since three generations. The strength of Puig lives in its capacity to build brands by forging their image through the fashion, and by transposing it into the world of the perfume. A competence strengthened by excellent products and a real storytelling.
In connection with the International Communication Executive of Christian Louboutin Beauty, the assistant will help on the development of the House’ Strategy and communication tools.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Strategy (20%)
– Deploy the strategic PR action plan by coordinating with marketing department to ensure a coherent brand image
– Develop communication territories and guidelines for product launches
Implementation (40%)
– Coordinate the day to day with worldwide PR and artistic agencies
– Develop communication tools: press releases, visuals and press angles to maximize coverage
– Manage the weekly global coverage reporting
– Help to manage exceptional press requests (interviews, shooting) and public appearance of spokespersons
– Benchmark competitors’ coverage
Event organization (40%)
– Manage press and KOL event planning (internationally and locally): brainstorm of the artistic direction, coordinate collaborators and PR, handle logistics
– Organize interviews and shooting with spokespersons
– Reporting of events
– Benchmark competitors’ events
KEY DATES:
Internship rhythm: full time at the office
Starting date: January 2019
EXPERIENCE:
First internship/apprenticeship required in the luxury industry in global communication.
EDUCATION:
Master in Communication/Marketing
LANGUAGES:
French and fluent English are required. Spanish is a plus.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
– Excellent understanding of the fashion and beauty landscape
– A good balance between organizational skills and creative mindset
– Detail-oriented and with an aesthetic sense (sensitive to design, photography and arts)
– Excellent written and oral communication skills
– Ability to work in team and excellent relationship
– Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint with the ability to convey concepts and
information in a succinct and visually compelling way
– Ability to meet tight deadlines with a strong sense of accountability
– Multi-project management
